  1. Wasteland?? Ignoramus. IL has the BEST farmland in North America, and maybe the world. Productive farms cover the state, except the Southern Little Egypt part. That is why you can't park your car and wander around anywhere. Huge flat outdoor food factories called farms take up most of the state. Wasteland?? Not at all.
