  1. So touching. The Apollo 12 Third Stage gets homesick about every 30 years, and comes back for a visit. It can take humanity for only a short while before it gets sick of us and feels it has to leave.

  2. As a child in Chicago, I remember watching Echo as it streamed across the sky. It was very visible, and light pollution was a lot less then. How much less was light pollution?? Well, walking on Grand Ave near Ashland, I could look up and see the Milky Way. I could even see the Pleiades. Also known as The Seven Sisters, which were used by the Ancient Greeks to test a person's eyesight. Yes, I knew that stuff at the age of 8. Much better schooling back then, that is for sure.

  4.  @aadarshktofficial  That is sad. You have never seen the true night sky, with all the constellations. To get an idea, I suggest you go to the Adler Planetarium in Chicago and attend one of their sky shows. It is as close to the real thing as you will get.

  7. China is not interested in working with others. Working with others is not in its history, nor in its culture. When has China welcomed non-Chinese into a cooperative venture?? As far as I know, never. Xi has recreated the Middle Kingdom attitude, which looks down on other nations, looks down on other cultures, and assumes that they must kowtow and submit. Look at China's behavior, and listen to its words. In every dispute, they say the other is creating tensions that could lead to war. They never offer compromise. Everyone must submit.
