I thought India was leaving the ridiculous Caste system behind. Guess not. Too bad. The Caste system will hold India back. The Caste system violates basic human rights. The Caste system violates the basic principle of Democracy -- that all citizens are equal in rights, and before the law. As long as India has the Caste system, they will be regarded as barbarians to many in the world.

@josephpalack1440 I understand. But, communicating weakness is NOT the way to prevent aggression and war. 1. Consider WW2. If UK & France had reacted strongly when Hitler took the Rhineland, or later when he took Czechoslovakia, WW2 might not have started. 2. Or, take the current Russo-Ukraine War. If US and NATO had reacted stronger in 2014, when Russia took Crimea, maybe Putin would not have been emboldened to start this war. It seems Putin expected US & NATO to not do anything. Both Hitler & Putin misjudged, and started a war. 3. Now consider China. India's apparent weakness will not appease a power that only respects strength. India must not merely match China's aggression -- India should come back HARDER. If China attacks with spiked clubs -- India should respond with pistols. If China attacks with a platoon, India should respond with a company. India MUST inflict MORE pain and casualties on China --- in any aggression by China. China MUST learn that it does NOT benefit them to attack India -- EVER. That is how India will avoid a major war with China. IMO

@josephpalack1440 Disagree. Weak response results in escalation -- not a strong response. China is testing India. Bringing DEADLY weapons is already a violation of the spirit of the agreement. The purpose of banning guns was to not have the use of deadly force. The response to spiked clubs and other deadly weapons is to use guns -- to show that you won't be intimidated or PLAY their silly GAMES. Kill a few, and it will stop. Playing their games says you are weak. Being weak invites escalation. Your idea of what should be done, and what will happen are actually opposite of reality. Europe acted weak, so Hitler kept attacking. US and NATO responded with weakness when Russia took Crimea, so Putin tried to take the rest. Weakness is NEVER the way in dealing with dictators.

Since India only speaks badly of the US, I think the US should distance itself from India diplomatically and in trade. I don't Trust India.

Listened about 30%, and gave up. He doesn't know how to make a point. He keeps stating and restating the obvious. Either he is an ignoramus, or he thinks we are. I listen to the Print a little. I have not made my decision on whether I will continue. This guy?? I don't want to see more of him, that is for sure.

India lets China lead it by the nose. Meanwhile, India will not join ANY economic group with US and EU nations in it. India is blinded by its colonial past. Seems India cannot see where its threats come from. China attacks India repeatedly (Doklam plateau, Galwan valley, Andruchal Pradesh). Yet, India thinks of China as a brother. Well, brothers like China commit fratricide.

This guy is very tedious. How many times does he have to say that Macau is a gambling capital?? Get on with it. Make your point.

The idea that China's perception of India as a middling power is at the heart of China's aggressive behavior is silly. She gives India too much power and influence over China. China does what it does because of the CCP's core beliefs and attitudes. China bullies everyone, not just India. China even tries to bully the US, even though the US is a superpower.
1
This shows that India and Modi support autocracy over democracy. The US should re-assess its growing relations with India. India voted with China to support Russia (how odd is that?) This is a disturbing development.
1
Asking "why does China bully everyone?", is like asking a scorpion, "why do you sting everyone?". That is what the CCP does.
1
Why all the hopping and yelling?? Seems childish and unproductive. If you yell before you kill your enemy - you are warning them, and you might lose. If you yell after you kill your enemy -- you are just being foolish.

The US should suspend joint naval exercises with India. India does not want to support or defend democracy in the world. I think the US should keep relations with India at an arms length. India is not a reliable partner.

@surajsalaskar6825 India NEVER asked for assistance or aid. Second, Pakistan & India were one country under British rule, so their war was seen by many to be more of a civil war --- at the time. Today -- India has NEVER asked for assistance. NOR, has India offered assistance. US, UK, and Australia formed AUKUS to counter China. India could be part of AUKUS, but it doesn't want that responsibility. Indians bitch when no one helps them -- but India has NEVER offered an alliance to help anyone else. India wants to be ALONE. So, stop complaining when people leave you alone. Talk about hypocrisy. Sheesh.

@shubhh6361 Oh really. United States NEVER had a colony in Africa. So, tell me how the United States exploited Africa & Asia??
1
@shubhh6361 Actually, the US insisted Britain and France give up its colonies after WW2. We set up the Bretton Woods structure to make colonialism unprofitable. The US used its military to stop UK and France from taking over the Suez Canal in 1956. Learn a bit of history, why don't you??
