Seriously. If Harris is elected then everyone gets to go back to brunch and pretend that democracy is ok. A Harris presidency would reward the DNC for being corrupt, breaking all its promises to the Left, kids still in cages, refugees dying at the border, failure on climate, failure on green infrastructure, failure on voting rights, failure on a public opinion, failure on police reform, failure on $15 min wage, failure to hold Saudi Arabia accountable, failure in Gaza, continuing to promote the proxy war against Russia, etc.....   However, if Trump is re-elected everyone will remember that children are still dying in detention, democracy is under direct threat, the world is burning and at least Trump says he would try to end the war in Ukraine (obviously Trump would nuke Ukraine for a nickel but the fact he even suggested peace is better than the DNC's current pro WW3 stance).   The reality is that we can boil the climate frog slow or fast but it's going to fry either way. If the fire is stoked purposely by the actual Left it, would tell the Corporate Democrats that breaking every promise has consequences or if we are really lucky, public awareness that the duopoly won't save us and force regular people to understand that after the Palestinians it could be the place that their families are from next?!? Not to mention the fact, that they're also in the same boiling pot........ Vote third party, knowing full well that it will more than likely elect Donald j. Trump and that you are proud of it because it's better than voting for genocide. Lastly, always remind Liberals when they say that Donald Trump will be worse that unfortunately genocide is the WORST and that we're already there. Yes, he will more than likely kill even faster, which is unbelievably horrific BUT if the clearly stated goals of Israel is to be believed, then tragically everyone in Palestine will eventually be dead regardless of the timeline. This is unacceptable on every possible level, there's no lesser of two evils when fucking genocide is concerned even if it's a little bit slower. The DNC MUST LOSE and it needs to be demonstratively because of Gaza. They also need to know that they will lose next time because of Gaza, then they need to understand that they will be in the political wilderness forever because the actual left will not be complicit in the murder of innocent men, women and children. Anything short of that is a recipe for the continued slaughter of people all over the world based on the idea of the "lesser of two evils."    The system works. Let's stop supporting it.

  3. Sam, how many times do the Democrats have to fail on purpose before you recognize that it's not incompetence, that's the plan. When the Democrats lose the 2024 election, a Trump presidency will reward Democrats donors with tax cuts and deregulation just like Republicans donors. The Dems will then fundraise off the terrible things that Donald Trump does and normie's are forced back to "centrist" Democrats to escape Republican authoritarian policies. Wash, rinse and repeat. If you don't want the "vote blue no matter who" argument once again from M.R, I'd suggest that you watch Bad Faith podcast with Brianna Joy Grey as she doesn't make money from that donor base and has actually paid a real price for supporting Palestinians unlike M.R. who ALWAYS carries the DNC'S blood filled water. Just like how M.R. defended the squad's capitulation on force the vote on the $15 min wage or anything else that progressives actually want and always WILL because that's how they make money. M.R. might feel that a kinder, gentler genocide under Harris is preferred to Trump as Kamala might delay 2000lb bombs for a couple weeks BUT I personally believe that if the Democrats don't lose and specifically because of Gaza, they will learn that the mass slaughter of innocent children is completely meaningless and that they should keep doing that. Look at kamala 's record, she is a prosecutor who purposely kept people who were innocent in jail and denied them access to a defense that would free them knowing full well that they were actually innocent, she mostly put corporations first, her money, her ambition at the center of every decision she makes with zero commitment to any kind of ideological curiosity and or commitment to working people. Other opinions, as no one has a monopoly on the truth or answers for how to make things better is always appreciated. Who would you say is More informative than Chris hedges? Also, as for BJG, she is a bridge to average people and doesn't speak in a way that would alienate them and so is able to effectively communicate complicated and or difficult issues that most of them are never exposed to in corporate media. Within a minute she nervously giggles about the complicity of German citizens in the Holocaust. I appreciate that you are a fan and all but do you think that as a journalist this was appropriate? You can support someone, think they generally do a good job, but be critical of mistakes that you may think will help them in the long run? Or do we slavishly agree with everything people do in the interest of keeping everyone happy?

  34. Bernie Sanders dropped out of the 2020 primary and endorsed Biden without a single concession for his endorsement. Biden did what all Democrats do once in power, he broke his campaign promise for a $15 minimum wage, public option, not to issue any oil drilling on federal lands, fully funded infrastructure package, voting rights, not putting refugees & their children in cages, not one more mile of Trump's border wall, police reform, making Saudi Arabia's MBS pay for the murder of an American journalist, cynically cancelling student debt in a way that he knew SCOTUS would stop and all the other promises he knew he had no intention of keeping. Bernie, let that happen by not forcing him to at least do one single thing by threatening to withhold his endorsement.
