The DNC knew that Joementia was fully unable to serve another 4 years, but they were terrified of an open primary as Bernie Sanders or anyone who wasn't willing to tow the corporate right-wing side of the Democratic party might actually win. So they made sure to weekend at Bernie's him to this stage so that they could make sure that nobody except what the billionaire corporate donors wanted. Would have any chance. The DNC doesn't give too f**** s** about the American people, democracy, the existential threat of trump. They only care about their power and or the donor class that they protect.  The system works

  3. Meh. I'm no fan of trump, however, I'm also not a fan of Woodward. I think Bob is more interested in squeezing one more nickel out of the American public than doing anything that even starts to approach journalism. You want that, look at Julian Assange and all the people who were silent about his absolute persecution by the American state and the utter silence and crickets that followed by the American mass media and the cowards that let it happen. Or maybe the all of the 200 Palestinian journalists affected by The IDF, Oh wait, you can't because they and their families were assassinated mercilessly, often in their homes at night while their children slept. Cowardice at the highest level.

  4. Also, people need to dig a little deeper on good old Bob. The reality is Nixon messed with the wrong people as he also tried to try peace with China which the security state didn't like. There's an awful lot of coincidental information that came through private lines from the right types of people that good old Bob continues to always be where he needs to be at the right time. Much like Goldberg, if you wanted a cardboard cutout for the CIA to pipe through the right person in deep throat so that you took out a president you didn't like it. Sure would be an awful, convenient way to get rid of someone........

America will continue to suffer from Joementia because they are terrified of a primary that they can't rig against Bernie Sanders or anyone else who actually represents what American's want rather than what wealthy donors pay Democrats for. The only thing that the DNC cares about is that progressives never get close to the white house. They are more than fine with a trump victory. They all get tax breaks, get to avoid owning the horrific choices made in Ukraine and Gaza as well as using Trump's reign of terror to threaten the Left if the don't support the next corporate candidate. The system works
