  2. Smith doesn't care about Canadians, the economy or even Albertans for that matter (while healthcares is crumbling, Wildrose is way too busy grifting off healthcare privatization). No, her main priority is the mostly foreign oil industry people who overwhelming donate to her party & represent the real power in Alberta. Why?!? Because some Albertans hate the NDP, as the NDP expects Corporations to actually pay taxes in order for nurses, doctors, teachers or literally any public service workers to at least make what a guy dumping waste water into a river makes. Unfortunately for some, the idea that having any respect for the people who literally save our lives, educate our children or protect our lives is WAAYYY TOO MUCH!!! Better to ensure that Smith can ALWAYS prioritize the Foreign Corporations lining of her Party's pockets, than to ever consider even a small amount of dignity for the people who actually hold Alberta together, because without them there'd be nobody to pump that sweet black liquid gold into all those foreign pockets?!?! Over 70% of all oil industry is owned by foreigners & that money is removed from Canada & is minimally taxed, while most of the cleanup is mostly paid for by Canadians. If it was actually a national project, that Canadians mostly benefited from that would be one thing. However, most of the conservatives want Canadians to pay for all of the development and then take a loss so that they're foreign partners can get it on the cheap, while paying a minimum of taxes. TMX pipeline, with original purchase cost + build cost almost $40 billion and took 13 years to build with a projected loss of an estimated loss of 15 billion to taxpayers BUT at least Alberta is thankful for forcing BC to take its resource to tide water over the objections of almost HALF the population of Vancouver right?!?; I mean, Alberta never shuts up about how the Federal government PAID to ensure its main resource was accommodated over BC, the municipality of Burnaby, the objections of multiple indigenous leaders, multiple treaties of trade on carbon expansion, against the will of literally every single environmental groups & as a result, Alberta is happier with Canada than ever!?!?! The system works.

  78. Well, only a week later, Poilievre finally acknowledged that his old riding of Carleton exists DESPITE the fact that they were no longer relevant?!? Clearly his advisors explained that perhaps his new riding of Battle River-Crowfoot might not appreciate the fact that his old riding was completely ignored once they were no longer deemed useful to PP electorally, LOL?!? Even though they gave PP, his electoral stature to date for the last 20 years, obviously they no longer served a purpose anymore, so there's zero point in acknowledging them or anything whatsoever in terms of his time there, as it's only a reminder now of his total failures. Still, PP must have been told that letting his old constituents know that they don't have any value whatsoever, once they've proven that they can't further his career and therefore should be ignored obviously, is the worst message possible to his new constituence that he is trying to parachute into LOL! Which is that the Battle River-Crowfoot electorate concern's obviously don't mean anything whatsoever, unless it's in the service of the conservative leadership for PP?!?! DUH!! Clearly acknowledging 20 years of PP not serving Carleton, as he climbs the leadership ladder sends an unfortunate message to his new riding, about how much they actually matter. Much better to ignore the facts & move towards using the people in Alberta now and their riding, so that he can climb over them and get to a place where he can ensure that he is able to reward the donors that actually paid for him to get where he is before the people of Battle River-Crowfoot figure out that they don't actually matter!! The system works.

  86. Trump isn't allowed to implement a tariff trade war unless he gets direct approval from Congress. Unless of course, it is related to "security" which could be argued is border related. The fact that the amount of drugs and or immigrants coming from Canada is less than literally 1% of what's coming from Mexico, says quite a bit about his intentions. The reality is that Trump wants to squeeze Canada's economy for massive trade concessions (by forcing Trudeau out, Trump can then rely on Poilievre to sell out Canadian workers to corporate America like the Conservatives did on NAFTA & China FIPA) and also force us to buy f-35s to the tune of hundreds of billions that don't even work?!? All just to line the pockets of the military industrial Complex and American corporations competing with Canadian companies?!? NATO is just a way for the USA to threaten other countries in order to extract corporate profits & get Canadians to pay for it with NO BENEFITS FOR US?!? I have no idea why people are so excited to support the looting of our tax base with a shakedown by a deranged gameshow host?!? Canadian's deep ignorance of history, economics, media literacy and world affairs is going to cost not only us but our children and probably generations after if we ever recover. Before you respond, I need you to answer this, "Trump said he wants to use economic warfare to force Canada into being the "51st state," and you trust anything that his says or the people in agreement with him!??!?! Don't get me wrong, John Baird was Minister of foreign affairs and he did great!!
