He would destroy Trump BUT the corruption and corporate capture of the DNC would never let that happen. The reality is that the duopoly is going to win regardless BUT if a massive voter turnout for 3rd parties occurs it could possibly get 5% for official federal government support and more importantly start to break the back of corporate domination of both parties. Besides, I'm starting to think a second Trump presidency might be in everyone's best interest. If Biden is re-elected everyone gets to go back to brunch and pretend that democracy is ok. A Biden presidency would reward the DNC for being corrupt, breaking all its promises to the Left, kids still in cages, refugees dying at the border, failure on climate, failure on healthcare and continuing to promote the proxy war against Russia. However, if Trump is re-elected everyone will remember that children are still dying in detention, democracy is under direct threat, the world is burning and at least Trump says he would try to end the war in Ukraine (obviously Trump would nuke Ukraine for a nickel but the fact he even suggested peace is better than the DNC's current pro WW3 stance). The reality is that we can boil the climate frog slow or fast but it's going to fry either way. If the fire is stoked it would re-unite the real Left and remind the Corporate Democrats that breaking every promise has consequences or if we are really lucky, public awareness that the duopoly won't save us and force regular people to understand that they're also in the same boiling pot........ I appreciate how non compete is bad for workers but as a small business owner I understand that having a manager walk out with a client list to start up a competing business that hasn't had to pay all the overhead to maintain these clients is concerning. I pay better than anyone else in my industry but there's very little I can do if an employee decides to steal my files and go after my clients. I support these changes generally but to pretend it doesn't affect people unfairly does a disservice to work reform.

USA, Canada and other western European leadership was favorable towards Putin at first) and supported precisely because of his time in the KGB as anti-democratic authoritarian. Like pretty much every single country getting out from a repressive government they didn't want "real" democracy but rather a client state that would cheaply sell off their resources to the West's corporations while ensuring that the Russian people would have no benefits. That's why Putin was able to sell off Russian assets to the oligarchy and consolidate power in the Russian state. This benefitted the western corporations while making sure that no "bad example" was set for a country's natural resources being used to help it's actual citizens It wasn't until the USA under Bush Jr broke it's promise to Yeltsin to not move NATO one inch closer to the Russian border but instead totally surrounding Russia with nuclear armed NATO new members. Once Putin realized that he was going to be Gadaffi'd by the western governments he took Crimea and said that if Ukraine moved towards NATO he'd invade. Then the USA backed a coup against a democratically elected Ukraine government that was pro Russia because they chose a Russian free trade agreement over the less favorable pro corporation IMF deal (once again, before you call me out look it up. It's literally on a voice recording of the state department picking Zelensky because he would support western corporate interests). Truth is that our governments don't give one s*** about progressive, democracy or freedom, but work entirely for the corporations that pay them. Just remember that all of our governments work for Saudi Arabia, China, India and a whole bunch of other authoritarian leaders. So long as they're paying the right people. It's only when they aren't profiting the corporations that have been chosen that there are no longer " good" governments. The system works

Yes, I'm hoping that a species that was able to overcome the vastness of space, is zero gravity travel and all of the craziness that comes with the loneliness interstellar travel has been murdered on arrival. What are two things is true, it's here to collect data kill us what data to help us. If it's the first one, it's only a matter of time before they figure it out because traveling through space and almost literally time considering the amount of space out there means they are far far ahead of us. The second, after we leave attack them so they've done nothing. Means they are reconsidering first option. If they contacted me. I would be hard pressed to save humanity. I think it's important to remind Democrats of what happened to the leaders of the Weimar government in pre-Nazi Germany, they assumed that they'd keep their wealth and status if they let Hitler terrorize Jews and other minorities, even though Hitler continued to consolidate power. By the time they realized that sacrificing the lives of others for their own self interest wasn't going to be enough, it was too late and Hitler came for them too.
