I'd LOVE a stripped down version of these that just built whatever they had available parts wise for the best options for rally car racing that was cost effective and replaceable for continued use. This would mean that clients would accept some openess to whatever was available for the build. Maybe that would give them first right of refusal and or an option on something that's more fancy with additional costs. This would allow for a commitment to a quality product BUT not a ridiculous unnecessary impractical vehicle that either the client or customer would be locked into. This would allow for more options as they don't need everything to be perfection in terms of vehicle styling and could allow for higher upper end vehicles and MUCH lower end options for vehicles that are more interested in the driving experience and the rest of the build is negotiable. I think this could have helped their sales as most of us, especially me. LOL! Taken a high quality frame and then whatever they had at hand that could have been updated at a later date including the shell and or any of the other parts. That way you could buy it and enjoy it immediately, but plan to improve it as a long-term strategy that didn't me had to spend the extra $100,000 she didn't have. Just the record, I have no idea what I'm talking but and it's just a fantasy. I own a signage company and there is a number of sign frames that I've built for restaurants and a couple of high-end companies where I know they're going to have expectations to change certain frames sooner than later. So I always drop a few extra bolt hole patterns when I frame their signs to begin with. I always charge them later for custom LOL but I planned it at the beginning. That's the only reason why and I still think it's a great idea, but obviously I don't know enough with the engineering of retro mod. That makes a huge difference later. I really wish I did!
