  1. Military grade fire arms should not be able to be obtained at your local k-mart by a minor. This logic is maintained in every other country except the most dangerous ones and the USA. What if Elon Musk wanted to buy a Nuclear war head for defense. There would be many countries not wanting this to happen. Likely he would not be able to buy one. Minors or in fact no private person should be able to own such a type of weapon. Even the police do not need to own military Tanks or machine guns.

  2. The NRA has a agenda. However it would be in the best interest of the NRA to make changes in itself to work with the current events. Weapons that can kill a lot of people quickly are not self defense weapons. If these words do not ring true then where do we stop. Nuclear weapons are not a self defense weapon except for a country. A gatling gun is not a weapon of self defense.

  3. Perfectly sane people kill people too. Why do people need a military grade firearm to protect themself ? Weapons like this are designed for war time and not self defense. Why can't I buy a nuclear warhead to protect myself ? The reason I would be told by anyone would be This is overkill and not a weapon of self defense.
