  3. HI Bettyjo, i hear that you do not need a ventilator unless you are elderly and at stage 2 or 3 of it. Most of us recover within 7 days. But is best to make sure if you still feel bad, have temp, hacking cough etc. for longer than 5-7 days. That is what I heard.
