Now I know why her French husband was divorcing her.

The new iPhone dropped so the Queen checked out rather than get one.

This glows especially if there's Rust in it 🦀

They''ll go thru "gamers are toxic" then "won't someone think of the children" then "the patriarchy is oppressing the wamens" to "everyone hates the rainbows" rinse and repeat.

Linus response to the drama is almost on the level of the mods response that caused Godot to set itself on fire.

Reverse shell? Pah. Reverse cowgirl is my preference.

This is why you absolutely say no to anyone that wants you to install their app/code on you PC or phone. You just don't know what kind of STD you'll be picking up.
178
Of course it's Microsoft. Please hand all your stuff to Microsoft so they can make sure it "works" properly.
149
Linux is better than Windows because it's not from Microsoft. Why Microsoft is on and corrupting the Linux foundation is something we need an answer to.

Add in the exploits where a bios's can configure a network card and download an update without using a usb stick. The BIOS in this machine has that capability .

10x optical zoom, 16 times the detail. Careful there, Todd might jump out of his crypt.

Every chad that was locked down by a WhaMen knows exactly what suckless means.

I used to think South Korea was a cool place. My opinion has been changing rapidly over the past few months.

Minimal light pollution gang assemble ! Yes, the Elon satellites mess up my astrophotography sessions. Much, much. much worse now.

I didn't know Tim Pool's other day job was border patrol.

If it can virtualise USB devices seamlessly I'm sold.

I dunno man, the more I read about Rust and the characters that champion it the more I think it shouldn't be anywhere near anything important. The introduction of Rust into the Linux kernel appears to be a Trojan horse that will bring political nightmares with it.
28
This BS is why Ubuntu will no longer spread its filthy fingers in my shop.
24
@demanorazfly YT owns the bots. Isn't that obvious ?
18
If you're sitting there in your Windows car it is actually Microsoft that'll be carjacking you.
17
Was it Microsoft or RedHat behind this ?
15
@realGBx64 Man, that sucks. I've been reading the rest of the comments here and it sounds absolutely horrific. Having more than one computer or something running in a VM that you can shut down sounds like a plan. Yikes.
14
Think of all those Kids Disney can snuff out now without any penalty because they're watching Disney+ and never read the TOS. Their parents should be ashamed. RIP.
13
AI will fix it all. LMAO

Oh god.

@MentalOutlaw Thanks, man. I'll check it out.

@netkv Last time I looked FreeBSD was going through first steps of demoralization i.e. Being told to respekt all whamen. It's a fast trip down the slippery slope from there.

I have a PC from the 90's that runs FreeBSD. I boot it once a year. It still boots but I have difficulties ssh into the box because of changes to the protocol. It has all my email thru 2002 including email I sent to "Windows on the World" restauraunt in the World Trade Center asking for a table for the week of 9/11/2001 - the person who responded was most probably one of the victims. I am sure that somewhere on that machine there are tar archives from the 80's as it was a machine I used to play with random software packages downloaded from USENET. Fun times.

My question is when will they start lighting suns above each others cities ?
6
The big question is does Signal glow ?

@Jizukiru 🌈

I really like "diverse" bowls of fruit, Bot Ross. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, bro.

Why isn't Fauci in jail ?

I booted up the Windows 11 machine yesterday. I have no software installed on it - it's completely clean. I had task manager open and it is connected to the internet. When the desktop appeared I could see that the CPU was at 100% (16 cores) and the disks was being thoroughly thrashed for over an hour. What was it doing? I won't lie, I felt 100% unclean, as though the machine that I thought was mine is being scanned for whether I have any wrong think or material that could incriminate me in anything .... my next task tonight is to delete the thing and install Linux on the machine and run Windows 10 in a locked down VM.
5
@pucktoad exactly what a glowie would say.
5
This glows so brightly.

I absolutely would never call Google or YouTube evil. Hell no!

In a month or so Xi the Pooh will be selling $13 SBC's on Aliexpress that can factor an infinitely long key. Trust me bro,
3
@dvs7dg But how does this affect you ?
3
Did teapot misgender someone during the hack ? That's the only reason cops in the UK would turn up to your house.
3
Maybe they should have painted the app with 🏳🌈 flags. Oh, wait, that would have been the last regime although I suspect that Japan would be way too based for them. On an much more serious note, if I depended on twatter for my safety I'd be in bad shape.
3
I don't do tech support for anyone.
3
I was on the play store today, for the first time in a long, long time, trying to find the app for my home power system. There were so many apps with the name of the vendor and zero information indicating which one is the actual vendor version of the app. I just punted and didn't install anything. Android and the Play store and how it is managed are well passed their use by date.

@Mental Outlaw. Prettys sure the NSCS has now singled you out for special personalized due diligence. Watch for black helicopters from their friends in the states. You know, the special relationship.
2
@Derka_Man Thank you, Clippy. Clippy's rise up!
2
Why are you assuming that they don't already have hooks to spy into your devices already anyway ?
2
Why would anyone download and install an app from a guy called "Tom's Wang ?"
2
And nothing of value was lost.
