I lived in the UK until the mid 90's. Seeing that video of a "high street" shopping plaza is utterly shocking to me. I've lived in big, small towns and villages during my life in the UK but have NEVER seen something so awful. My word.

@kevinpeterwareham8131 Don't laugh. New York. I did move away from there in 2004 to the countryside in another state 100 miles away. By then I had worked up a healthy hatred of NY. Things haven't improved there too.

@DonBean-ej4ou LMAO. I used to live in Maidenhead which was just up the road from Slough. My best friend bought his first house in Slough but would make every effort not to go shopping in the town center. The memories I have of that place, shudder.
