  2. In car with gf. She joins highway, me in passenger seat. State trooper pulls her over. Trooper comes to the window and before he could open his mouth she starts yelling "why did you pull me over" this goes on for a couple minutes as I'm sitting there looking out the front window. Trooper takes her details goes back to his cruiser and returns with two tickets totaling over $600. If I was him in his shoes, I would have done exactly the same thing. No, I refused to "comfort" her.

  6. FWIW, to this day the absolute worst air disaster ever from the 70's was caused by an unshakable ego. It was one of the reasons for the creation of CRM (Crew Resource Management) to make crews operate together better and bury their ego.

  7. I had a Chinese male boss that behaved in exactly the same way. He would ignore all messages that weren't from superiors and only react to messages from his boss or higher. I'd be in his office watching him see email come in, see who it came from then either read it or immediately delete it.
