Bitter feminist that failed at having a life long stable relationship blames the carousel of men she rode on for her unhappiness.

Remember when Blair was the hot new young labour MP? No one is laughing now. What a Joke the UK is.

“Winston had disliked her from the very first moment of seeing her. He knew the reason. It was because of the atmosphere of hockey−fields and cold baths and community hikes and general clean−mindedness which she managed to carry about with her. He disliked nearly all women, and especially the young and pretty ones. It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers−out of unorthodoxy.” ― George Orwell, 1984

I'm a black conservative man. None of the women in that Zoom call speak for me despite them claiming they do. In fact for as long as I remember they have made working in corporate America an utter nightmare with all their virtue signalling and victimhood. So many good men replaced by those who can't who then proceed to hire more of themselves.

Apparently Misandry isn't a thing. Who knew.

Sorry, had to skip over that Australian "senator" WTF [edit] these women are impossible to listen to.Good god

I lived in the UK then moved to the US. I had a couple relationships but after the last long term one failed I tried dating again. You start to question your sanity when living within spitting distance of NYC. Thanks to the internet and these discussions I've found out that no, it's not just me. When almost everyone around you is an ultra liberal that sees you as a NotC for having the mildest of conservative positions it's downhill from there.

In a few years crying about no eggs and where are all the good men as they look into a self created void of loneliness

It has been decades since I last listened to Ian Hislop speak. Appears that for my sanity that was totally a great thing.

My best friends sister that I've known since she was a little girl out of the blue decide to marry an English guy. In fact it was so sudden that the wedding is today in London and none of us that live far a field had the time to do anything, presents or attending. She's also in her mid 40's and from what I gather he's going to move to live with her in Doha in the middle east where she's based. Her father who kept asking why she's not married passed away in March and we suspect that that has something to do with the sudden realisation.

@fredmercury1314 I was at a Dr's office in Queens New York about 8 years ago. For some reason while talking to the Dr she mentions that the vast majority of pregnant women she see's in her practice are single and in their 40's. Back then it wasn't a good sign. I can't imagine what it's like now.

The 1000 Year Blaireich. Sounds about right.
14
Was his name Stabby McStabby? Oh, I thought not.
11
I know and worked with someone that is a direct descendant of Pankhurst. I helped her relocate from the UK to the US. She's quite proud of her ancestor.

@forgottenfuryan That's weird. Can I ask why you subscribed to me on January 17th ?

@stonemarten1400 I miss Friday lunchtime in the UK circa early 90's. We'd all go out to the pub for grub, get ratted then come back to the office tipsy then pretend to work while the clock counted down. Those were some good times. I worked for a place in NYC where HR encouraged people to report staff who were drinking alcohol in any of the food places near the office over lunch time.

All those scholars, engineers and doctors. UK turning into a shinning tech utopia.

I bet you she has a dating life that tells the dude how he needs to behave towards her i.e. give me stuff, but absolutely nothing flows the other way. Totally self absorbed narcissits that people who should know better listen to because of looks and youth. Shudder.

At the end of the movie "Walkabout" there's a reading of a poem by A.E Housman called a Shropshire Lad. I think it encapsulates everything that has happened to the UK. Into my heart an air that kills From yon far country blows: What are those blue remembered hills, What spires, what farms are those? That is the land of lost content, I see it shining plain, The happy highways where I went And cannot come again.

Jess Philips spreading safety across the universe.

Stupid people don't know they are stupid. Good job fanning the flames and not addressing the real concerns.

Here we go again. Respekt Whamen. I thought this died out in 2016.

I started watching the movie Brazil again last night. Starmer is 100% the analog for dear leader, Deputy Minister of Information, Eugene Helpman. As you go through the movie you realise that it is what the UK has devolved to. When it was release in 1985 I found so many aspects of it hilarious. I'm not laughing now. It is still one of my favorite movies.

While watching this YouTube was suggesting a video asking why Guillotine blades are Angled.

Considering how the Spanish run their society it shouldn't be a surprise they invented the Spanish style of football, going nowhere fast. Haven't really watched soccer in decades and missed the last world cup.
5
Oh no! How utterly terrible. Anyway, I'm having steam crab for dinner. Delicious.

@sthelenshistorychannel come on man ?

@here_we_go_again2571 I'm the OP. I moved from the UK to the US about 28 years ago just before Blair. I am just as horrified as you are. It is horrifying.

That insane US school teacher is doing "bird hands" that's all you need to know about her.

I just read they're sending more "troops" to Belfast. This should be fun.

Who takes that shrew seriously ? She should be the shrimp in taming of the shrimp. 🦐 or should that be lobster 🦞🦞🦞 The worst people always fail upwards.

He's like Cakala Harris: "It wasn't me, my policies are exactly the opposite of what your lying eyes see"

The BBC is an utter disgrace.

I used to live in suburban New York. I was on the 5th floor of an apartment building that overlooked a junction and a set of traffic lights. After 11pm there was virtually no traffic on those roads, however, at 3am in the morning some idiot will invariably beep their horn at the traffic light or have their music blasting so loud waking you up from slumber. I soon moved away from the suburbs to the countryside that looks so much like Berkshire of 30 years ago that I enjoyed living in. Best thing I ever did. Right now as the sun is coming up all I can hear are the birds outside.
2
@davewordsworth1251 Yep. Seen it too. Up here in the middle of nowhere there is some a$$hole that drinks a certain type of beer on his journey that he appears to take regularly. Along the sides of the road for several miles you see dozens and dozens of the same beer can that have been thrown out by this bottom feeder since the last time they were picked up. I think the guy drinks while driving home from his workplace. You just can't get away far enough from "modernity"

Why is the UK being run by the biggest dunce in the West? And that's up against some pretty tough competition 😬

Maybe Southport was orchestrated so that the news gets buried - allegedly. Who know's anything is possible when there's a bunch of leftists around. Weird that the victims were also children, again.

Shut up and enjoy our utopia, bigots. Essentially.

Agreed. She was also the most manly.

frdsg8350 oh god. During the summer of love here in the states I got an email from HR Karen safely sitting in her heavily fortified gated community telling us how hard it is to be a black man in America. The irony and lack of selfawareness made it almost funny. Almost. From what I gather joints like Google are even worse.
1
They wouldn't even grape her.
