  3. I knew a Dentist in Manhattan who was in his late 70's still working to maintain his daughters horse riding fetish. He'd be on the 5:30am train to Manhattan with all of us younger men for the 2 hours ride to his office. One time when he was not around the discussion centered on him and the conclusion that was drawn was if you know a horse chic, RUN. I have never forgotten that.

  12. I used to watch the Daily Show every now and again and Jon Stewart did make me laugh. When I got over Trevor being selected to replace Jon I couldn't believe it. I didn't watch the show ever again after that. Racism on my part? No, I happen to be black and spent many of my formative years growing up in Africa. I can't take anyone who thinks there is only one (their) path to truth seriously.

There's nothing like the existential dread of Sunday night knowing groundhog day is about to start again. As for the dentist, I haven't seen him in years. Even back then he was hunched over despite being a tall guy. We could tell he wan't doing well.

  25. When you fly into Singapore whether you're in cattle class or first class on a Singapore Airlines plane, there's a little card that informs you unambiguously that "we execute drug smugglers". There is no way anyone can misunderstand what is being said. Of course only an SJW would think the rules don't apply to her despite being aware of the rules of Russia.
