My partner moved out when I went into hospital to have part of a lung removed. To make matters worse she took my pets with her to use as bargaining chips after I got out of hospital. You know, all my life I was told they're full of compassion and empathy. In my experience that couldn't be further from the truth. Stay strong, man!

Mine was the worst too. Not saying my dad wasn't complicit but she was the one continually pour JET-A1 fuel on the fire and was shocked that everything kept burning. There's nothing left now. I'm estranged from both.

100% My sister allowed herself to be talked into becoming a single mother of two teenage boys by her "friends." I found out after she'd done the deed. Now she's on the dating apps telling guys "no sex before marriage." You cannot make this up.

@adammcelwee8492 Yep, you are spot on with the religious angle which I didn't mention. The best part is being asked to talk to potential loser suitors who would put up with her nonsense. Needless to say I have better things to do with my time and life, I know she's my sister but I'm not a woman so maybe this makes total sense in her head? I believe Queen Elizabeth I decided one day that she was a virgin all over again. That's some amazing super powers they got there.

@JohnSmith-ys3wc They act like friends but deep down they hate each other and want to see you miserable. I haven't yet asked her whether she's still friends with those "friends". Misery loves company I guess.
