  1. When I moved to where I live in the countryside of the US kids used to trick or treat every year. It has been years since anyone came to my door at Halloween. You do notice these things. It's like the country started to change for the worst 12-15 years ago.

  2. I live in the US after moving here years ago. I went back to the UK in April after a 110 year gap. I was shocked how much it has changed. I closed my UK bank accounts and on the flight back to the US I knew that the UK is no longer home.
