  1. Yeah, don't get married and especially don't cohabitate. I live in a state where cohabitation isn't considered her automatically becoming your wife, however, when I split from my ex(gf), when it came to getting her out of my home so that I could keep a roof over my head, my own f'kin female attorney berated me for taking steps to protect myself before this woman moved into my home. What was the protection I hear you ask? signing a hand written note basically saying: "What's mine is mine and what's yours is yours."
