Same. Worked for a large well known bank as employee for 15 years. A year after I was let go only one person of the hundreds I worked with reaches out to chat regularly about stuff. A company I worked for in the 90's still has monthly get together's. Back then even as a contractor, after 5 years working on their projects over 100 people came to say goodbye to me at a local restaurant. Something has changed in the culture and it's not good.

15 years in a tech job. New female boss who proceeded to create an inner circle clique of the preferred and promoted people that did absolutely no work but talk nonsense all day. At the end of her first year and half she was removed from the role and moved to somewhere else she can destroy while the rest of us were laid off. Her biggest achievement while not providing what the business required was hiring 35% women after we had lost 35% of staff in the prior year. I haven't even mentioned all the woke nonsense that was spewed from the management and HR.
