  1. I live in a very small town of 3000 that has a middle school that graduates less than 200 (and falling, used to be 500) students. Compared to the metropolitan areas 60 miles south of here it is comparatively cheap to live here. What is the town trying to do? Spend over $43m on knocking down the school and building a smaller one in its place to graduate just 200 students per year. Americans spend like drunken sailors as long as its someoneelses money.

  2. "Private Equity" is/has buying/bought up all the hospitals and doctors and specialist in my area. You can't go anywhere but be beholdent to these private equity hospitals and doctors. The rates of any medical procedure are absolutely astronomical. Americans are Americans worst enemies.
