Every single one of my neighbors and their male friends when we get together for drinks by the pool look at me as a single never married guy and say that if they had to do it over they wouldn't get married. These are men that now have grown adult children. Needless to say all the other men that used to be my neighbors that aren't anymore are divorced. I was almost one of them when I stupidly let someone that was impossible to please move in with me. It was the most expensive mistake I made of my life.

@Anicca108 Pretty much. Men sit there oblivious while they lay their plans. That is changing as more men wake up.

@fantasia55 I haven't even said the half of it. Kidnapping my pets, then me having to get state police and lawyers involved. It was a gigantic s show. It could have been much, much worse if I was in a state that recognized common law, like NY that I'd moved away from.

@chad7694 Nope. Professional woman with degrees and a good paying job, zero tattoos. She was so convinced she had some leverage she did not expect the state police to call her up and tell her how things were going to go down. You never know what you're getting into even if you don't ignore the red flags.

@looweegee252 Neither of my mine. I only learned when the chess pieces came out after she'd moved in, was several moves ahead and I hadn't made a single move on this game I was oblivious to.
