  4.  @tommyg5261  I remember when I graduated in the UK and in my first job, which by all measures was an excellent job, walking up the street in my town and looking at a cheap VW car garage and realizing that despite my degree I'll never be able to afford one of those cars. 4 years later I left for Germany and never looked back. I now live in rural USA.
