@AutisticMorty I know that feeling. I experienced it on vacation walking through the trendy part of a town in Florida with my middle eastern girlfriend on my arm. Not only wasn't she American I found it amusing seeing American dudes giving me dirty looks. I have since grown out of the need for women who invariably bring chaos into your existence. All the other points are things to take into account for sure.

@NarcSurvivor I have a friend that travels to the Asia frequently for business. He keeps telling me that I should relocate there for a relationship but also reminds me that every woman there sees you as a provider of money and resources for her and her family, not just her. You gotta remember that. So basically it's SSDD but in a different currency. If you think it's anything other than that then you're smoking something.

Aren't American retieees pushing up the cost of everything in Portugal? A few months ago I looked up videos about the downsides of Portugal and in the comments on most of them it was locals saying "please don't come here" you are messing up life for the locals. My Portuguese neighbor (i'm in the US) also mentioned that there's big problem with Brazilian crime.
