I work in a large well known corporation that has chosen equality of outcome as a replacement for merit. The only reason they can do this is the men and women that built up this company based on merit have provided these ideologues a giant war chest which they are systematically using to turn the company into a mediocre reflection of itself. If it's not the creepy emails from HR or the never ending virtue signaling in media these clowns sit there and wonder why they cannot retain competent staff. I'm keeping my head down and getting paid and waiting for the day the "diversity police" come for me as a black man and tell me I'm somehow oppressing someone who has different genitals from my own. It makes me laugh being told that I have to be the ally of people who couldn't give a rats ass about my own struggles and the work it took to get me to where I am.

Good for you. I miss being a freelancer. Unfortunately as an employee I have to put up with rich, have never done a hard days work in their lives, women telling me from the comfort of the corporate TV studio how oppressed they are.

@jawwad1189 That's the really insidious part. They outsource to countries where they can get away with a "lack of diversity" but over here in the stated they spout the diversity bs. It's the same nonsense where they don't stand behind their convictions when it comes to waving the pride flag in Arabic countries.
