  1. What I find amazing about Americans is the statement in the declaration of Independence: "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" It seems that so many Americans are more interested in making sure that "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" never happens.

  3.  @GamesFromSpace  A few days after I was laid off I was feeling a little unwell. I was advised to go to the hospital. They put an IV in me and around 8pm said that they want to keep me overnight for observation. I was let go at 1pm the following afternoon after a couple more tests in late morning. Other than two meals and some pain killers, IV and tests that was it. A couple weeks later a bill for $18,900 landed on my doorstep. I dunno about the American dream but it's more like the American Nightmare ....
