In the 90's I stupidly bought a US manufactured Saab 9000 CSE. Worst car I ever owned. I'll never forget going to the dealer and listening to some lady crying over how bad the computer system in her brand new Saab was - this was the first gen of the tech all vehicles have now. I never bought another US manufactured vehicle after I traded the darn thing in for a Subaru.

@jhonspeedy When I lived in the UK we drooled over Saab's especially the 900. I can't tell you how disappointed I was with the 9000. Such a let down where the same models you could buy in the UK and Europe were awesome. Mine was always in the shop with one weird problem or another. I was not upset the day I handed it over in a trade in. Yes, I remember Saab going under. Such a shame.
