  2. I had a PR today that was all new code to do with transactions, rollbacks, multi-threading, everything! In a part of the system that I'd never seen before. The code was over 1200 lines and the PR was sent to me right at the end of the day. My response to the guy was: I've seen 10 lines of code to do with concurrency that everyone signed off on and 2 weeks later there was a deadlock in prod while I was on vacation. Yes, I hate reading code especially when I share part of the blame for approving it.
