  1. This is essentially online dating for developers. Remember when it used to be "hot girls in your area?" in the local paper. Now it's hot girls on the internet. Corporation: We should all be able to find the hottest girl on the internet, right? look! there's loads of them!!! The developers keep swiping in frustration and getting no engagement while the corps keep posting for hot girls on the internet.

  5.  @InternetOfBugs  Haha. I hear you. Isn't it amazing how once you introduce computers and the internet the negative incentives just appear out of the ether. I used to think recruiters were bad, that was 15 years ago, just before I got the job I was laid off from last year. This new strain of recruiter is so so much worse. Some are so bad I'm starting to wonder whether they're actually sentient.
