  1. I worked at a place where I had the joy of voting for yet another $5m payrise for the CEO almost every year that the board had already decided anyway. My vote and others meant absolutely nothing. Then to hear the same CEO justifying taking the pay rise because if he didn't it would "upset" the board of which he is the chairman. While for years the average salary of the people that actually run the show remained flat.

  2.  @Sypitz  Where I worked there were scandals every year. Massive ones and massive fines. The guy still has his job.

  3.  @Sypitz  I don't know. I've never worked in the games industry but would have liked to. Just goes to show that no matter the career path/industry the same anti-patterns exist. FWIW. In my case I'm talking of fines in the $100's of millions and a recent one of just shy of $1Bn. The stories I could tell.
