  7. All that power and speed but what sort of range will it have at racing speeds? Battery tech isn't advanced enough yet to give any of these concepts a decent time on track, imagine running at Le Mans and only getting 4 laps before needing a recharge, 20 minutes in the pits to get enough juice then another 4 laps etc for the rest of the 24 hours?

  40. Noted American engine builder Steve Morris is currently working on a 1200 cc 3 cylinder Rotax unit that is expected to produce 900bhp! Not sure what the all-up weight will be but the customer wants to put it in an off road buggy which are pretty light!
