I'm not defending her but she was a 20 year old secretary, what was she going to do? go to Himmler and demand he stop it?

@DarkPesco i read the article it appears her husband was an officer at the camp, she probably felt trapped, Germany was already on the retreat by the time she started working there

@mimi88441 I really do not think it was that simple in the Germany of 1943, she wasn't involved in physical duties it was paperwork, the authorities of Germany at the time probably considered being in office doing secretary work to be quite a safe job and wanting to get away from that would probably arouse suspicion, I mean it would be a surprise if she had any contact at all with prisoners
