  1. Greg Piskos idiot the working class actually works and does the productions. Owning capital doesn’t make you smart or have any notable skill. You just have the money and privilege to do so. Socialism has always been about worker’s ownership and classless society. The first American Anarchists advocated Socialist Markets where labor was valued instead of wage slavery where the capitalists extracts all the surplus and rewards from the workers. Funny how Socialism, when worker’s control the workplace and productivity is considered less democratic than capitalism where a privileged capitalist class leaches off the worker’s. The economy you described is Capitalism, where a few, the bourgeois class, took control of the means of production and reduced the majority to wage labor. Yet without Socialists only property owners could vote, and working conditions would be abhorrent. Capitalism is unsustainable without the State or intervention. You need it to protect property rights. Yet there have been Stateless Socialist communities where workers controlled industry. Stop spreading misinformation.

  2. James Allen it would IF we still have Capitalism. Socialists have a history of anticipating automation. They were not opposed to it so long as workers own the means, not capitalists that would give them the boot. That would be a disaster and unrest would ensue.
