  1. Bob Olsen socialism requires worker’s ownership of the means of production, and a push towards post-Capitalism.... nationalizing one resource doesn’t equate to Socialism. In fact unless the ruling party is a worker’s Socialist party that nationalizes all industry it isn’t Socialism. Nationalization/public ownership is not even the only type of social ownership. Worker coops and collectives are alternatives. Socialism is not government providing, it is some form of social ownership of the means of production and a push towards a classless post-Capitalist socioeconomic system.
