  2. With all the disdain and neglect for science I’m surprised another Technocracy movement hasn’t arisen like during the Great Depression. Now the doomsday narrative. May or may not help, but in reality we’re not facing an apocalypse, but a point of no return. While it’s not the end of the human race, it is a shift in ecological circumstances. Several areas will become inhospitable, and the economic turmoil will destabilize many others. The climatologists tell us to prepare for the oncoming problems, which a Green New Deal will help for the economic and energy ramifications. Shifting towards a new green economy also deters the worsening of anthropogenic climate change.
