@jimbob3030 frankly as you said it can also be interpreted as leftist revolutionary politics. There is a long and rich history of Christian liberation theology, liberal religion, and radical religion such as Christian communism and socialism. This is true of other faiths as well. The Cvil Rights movement was organized by the Black evangelical/Baptist Church. The story of young Jesus being a problem child actually makes him more realistic. I also enjoyed the apocryphal texts and the agnostic texts of the Dead Sea scrolls.
