  1. They only care about these things until it’s “cancelled”. I think Beau of the Fifth had the most accurate take on these things. Social attitudes change so those left behind feel they are being oppressed. In the past you had to hide being lgbt of you wanted a job or to cruise through larger society. Now society is more inclusive and progressing. Capitalism is crap, but markets themselves are telling. Companies cater to a larger and more inclusive demographic, because they see the social and cultural trends are ever progressing so they want to capitalize on that.
