  1. JWil42 progressives defend anyone’s human rights. As for the Middle East in general they see transitioning to Green Energy ideal on many levels. Reinvigorating the economy, creating jobs, environmental concerns, and it’ll change relations towards the tyrannical and theocratic regimes of the Middle East in ending dependence on petroleum oil. And of course they want to pull troops from ceaseless conflicts in those regions where they die for special interests of big oil and the military-industrial complex. Ideally our relation to those governments would be humanitarian aid towards the people and trade.

  2. JWil42 They’ve both been picky about it. Palestinians want an older border. But the Israeli’s want Jerusalem. In 2013 both Israel and America rejected the proposal or voted against it. Both sides feel entitled to certain borders, and America in the mix on the side of Israel isn’t exactly helping over there.
