  2. well to counter argue your libertarian talking points: 1) Thinking it failed in Vermont because "it didn't work" instead of acknowledging the forces against it and effectively leaving it inefficient is disingenuous. Again the mere fact that every other developed liberal democracy in the world has universal health coverage and better statistics than the US is already empirical proof that denying it's effectiveness and superior results is false corporate backed data. 2) People can argue that denying accessible Healthcare is denying right to Life. Even now groups are suing government for denying Life, Liberty, even Property for failing to address climate change concerns. People feel they shouldn't have to go bankrupt or die because they couldn't afford treatment. It is simply the humane thing to do and valuing human lives, over profit is the moral stance. Hell greater health can only be beneficial to the US economy as the nuances of all that universal Healthcare results to are frankly beneficial to more than even just health. 3) The Founding Fathers did not believe taxation was slavery or theft. They weren't opposed to taxation, they wanted representation and voice as to how they would be taxed by government.
