  1. As a libertarian socialist I have to disagree that the Left needs government or is about government. Genuine leftism has always been the anti-statist wing of socialism. The problem with these far right militias is they have a distorted version of “Libertarianism” unique to America. American conservatism and right wing has always had a weird blend of supporting levels limited government but also socioculturally tyranny. Which is why many of these groups start off as social conservative “libertarian” and some even roots in white nationalist movements. While I have seen genuine libertarian socialists allied with genuine classical liberals; we’re always careful of not promoting groups that allow or can’t control a segment of social tyrants and bigots among their ranks. If you have that problem you should leave that group and join a better one. Also these groups comes from a more AnCap economic philosophy which anarchists reject as pseudo anarchism because capitalism is antithetical to anarchy.
