  1. When he says the difference between liberal and woke… Is not the liberal principle of sovereignty of the individual or law of equal liberty? So why is he saying a minority group trying to solidify their rights and civil liberties is asking too much. Like Mike says “live and let live.” He’s using the same conservative tactics of “this is a danger to society and will be the downfall of civilization.” When you’re being criticized or receive backlash for something said that is freedom of speech. When you are arrested and prosecuted for criticizing institutions of power that is a violation of free speech principle. Freedom of speech is not a bulwark against public backlash and being ostracized from a professing society for your still conservative views, it is a limit on governmental authority and your right to voice grievances.
