It was the Left that engaged in Civil Disobedience, Civil Rights, and Hippie Flower Power shit. Selling your souls to Corporate America is not a good look. The Greatest Generation formed the New Deal Coalition. Gen X brought some much needed anti-establishment edge. Boomers inherited an economic boom and New Deal reforms only to sell it to Reagan and Neoliberalism. Not all Boomers but that generation was complacent as if the struggle was over.

  2. MK ULTRA I don’t know if you noticed but Boomers don’t think that hard about policy. At this point it’s a sport to them and they’re either team Democrat or Republican and they follow blindly. And Biden is the recognizable guy that was VP to Obama. That’s pretty much how they take electoral politics. The old Republican (as in Republicanism) notions of civil duty and vigilance are gone from modern politics, to literally a tribal sports spectacle.
