  3.  @asimhussain8716  different when you’re comparing a political coalition for their chosen politics that we are seeing is the same old regressive reactionary backlash at progress we saw with abolition and desegregation. This is that same politics that we all see as the wrong side of history rebranded for targeting another minority. And we see these politics are quickly attacking our Republican institutions and government as seen with the sedition caucus and Jan 6 events. Seeing is believing, and we are seeing the death of actual Conservatism which is more progressive with every generation because it conserves the progress that has been achieved. Regressivism is in opposition to Burkean Traditionalism. This isn’t about a religious, ethnic, or racial group. This is countering a political group that is radicalizing far right into regressivism and reactionary anti-Republican politics of extreme nationalism and religious fundamentalism. What I want is for genuine Conservatives to take back the right and their party from these Regressives. Barry Goldwater warned everyone what would happen if these extremists and religious sycophants take over the Republican Party and we are seeing this now. True Conservatism is based on Institutional Traditionalism and pragmatic pessimism for gradual progress. Conservatives lament the replacement of Traditionalism with social conservatism and the regressivism of reactionaries that only ensure revolutionary fervor by preventing progress.
