  3. Christian Traverse you’re right Trump isn’t close to a Fascist. Fascists actually have the balls to discredit democracy as a viable political system and also reject liberalism. They believe in extremist nationalism and socioeconomic Corporatism. But with that said you gotta be a special kind of stupid to remain centrist in a neoliberal age. If you understand what is going on you want to get rid of “liberal” capitalism from the left or the right. One chooses Statist Corporatism or State Capitalism and class collaboration. The other Socialism and class struggle. One maintains capitalism but takes out the liberal in favor of the State and national interest. The other seeks to abolish the State and dominant social hierarchies like capitalism, towards a classless society. Corporatism v Socialism, Totalitarianism v Libertarianism, Fascism v Anarchism

  4. Christian Traverse that is a false argument. A representative democracy is a representative democracy. It is a form of democracy with elected representatives or delegates. And depending on how structured could be more or less democratic. Such as immediate recall. A Republic is a political entity in which governance and ruling is a public affair not the dominion of a monarch. Republic is the antithesis of kingdom or monarchy. Republics can be liberal democratic, single-party rule, oligarchy etc.... so long as it’s not a State ruled by a monarch and dynasties. Capitalism is a problem. It is the rule of Capital. It is sustained by the State and legal privileges and favors. Capitalism is not free market economics. Markets existed long before capitalism. And deregulation helps out big business more as they already have an uncompetitive advantage. You’ll have to do more than give corporations tax cuts and deregulate to their favor to actually form a free market. Capitalism is the State protecting Capital.
