  1. My political theory as it stands in the world today. The concern for rising coalitions of far right nationalists is very real and palpable. They claim they are conservatives, conserving an ideal of classical liberalism. But the truth is these people were always reactionary, they have no value for classical liberalism. They believe in religious fundamentalism, and nationalist politics. Reactionaries never went away, they just accepted the status quo of Republican government, and attempt to use the democratic institutions to have more control of societies towards their traditionalist preferences. They don’t want a liberal society, but a society of traditional orders and hierarchies. They have supported an economic system that has degraded back to feudalism, if that ain’t proof of reactionaries turning back the paradigm of the Enlightenment I don’t know what is. Liberal republicanism is in danger of reverting back to autocratic and religious feudal orders. The economy is already feudalistic, and powers are being centralized to governments.
