Of course! Most Americans don’t see themselves as radicals. They see themselves as moderate or conservative. Hence they support the Democrats. The Democratic Party is incrementalist and full of “Rockefeller Republicans”, it’s the successor to Abraham Lincoln’s Republican Party. Under liberal democratic Republics, the conservative is a liberal. The Founding Fathers were liberals. What do you conserve in a liberal democratic republic?
