@KaiserMattTygore927 Soviet Union were hailed as heroic allies when they literally United with the USA against Fascism. Americans were respectful of the casualties of the Soviets to defend the world from Fascism. A communist killed Mussolini. The Soviets liberated Germany. It wasn’t until the Cold War that red scare propaganda turned Americans against Soviets. Until then they were seen as allies and Americans respected their self determination and sovereignty. That’s said as a libertarian socialist I oppose State Socialism and Marxist-Leninism
