Ștefan Manole Yeah no. That’s what fandom likes to call characters like Qui-Gon, Mace Windu, or Darth Revan, Force users that sort of delved in both sides of the Force. And though the Grey code sounds 100x better than the Jedi and Sith codes it’s never been canon. The Dai Bendu is real in canon though, and they practiced both light and dark, they were One with the Force, not half.

Ștefan Manole The Bendu character from Rebels is a character referencing the Order of Dai Bendu. The ancient Order of Force users and knowledge seekers that the Jedi and Sith derived from. They studied and practiced the Ashla(Light) and Bogan(Dark). If anything they were the Grey. Like the Bendu creature from Rebels said, the Bendu is in-between.

If I were a Force-sensitive character/individual in the Star Wars universe I would like to believe I’d be in a more neutral grey area of it. I would have compassion for others and prefer a democratic-republic form of government. I would champion justice and be concerned for the greater good. However I would not be all selfless, selfishness is not inherently wrong. I would like to profit in business, and accumulate wealth. I would choose my loved ones over others and do just about all I can to protect them. I WANT to have feelings and be passionate. I’d have a struggle knowing when leaning towards the light or dark is more appropriate in any given scenario. I want to make something of myself but not at the expense of losing my humanity and hurting others, but I also want to help spread peace, justice, and freedom; but not completely over my own selfish feelings for those intimately in my heart. Peaceful enough to not live with wrath and anger, but powerful enough to protect what matters. It’s a struggle and dichotomy of conflicts but such is life. When does the academy for the Dai Bendu open?! 😇 😈

Ștefan Manole Grey Jedi were never an actual canonical thing. It’s really fan fiction. But the Dai Bendu is real in the franchise and they are the original “Grey” Force Order.

Jackson Fitzhenry I agree the Jedi are not about individualism, they seek to transcend this mortal existence kind of like mystics and hermits socially. The Sith have too much individualism that everything else is less important than their own ambitions. Though Jedi do protect freedom so others may have individualism. And Sith seek totalitarian dominance that allows for no individualism to challenge them personally.
