  1. TM3000 That’s because the economy is feeling the effects of Obama’s administration. It takes time for economic policies to be felt, and several months we’ll start seeing what effects Trump’s economic policies will have. This is how it is.

  2. The Burger King You’re not understanding. It takes at least a year or over to see what an economic policy has wrought. What we’ve witnessed last year and going on is the residual effects of the last of Obama’s economic influence. Whatever has been the economy under Obama was felt from his second year in office to Trump’s first. In Obama’s case it was actually more complex possibly because what he inherited from Bush’s administration was really bad. Now we have policies implemented by Trump such as the new Tax Bills, we can’t feel that immediately. The rise in markets was starting to show before Trump had any policies implemented. Give it a while and we’ll see how we have benefited from Trump’s policies. Remember the first year or so of an administration is undoing and organizing, then we can truly see effects of any longer term legislations and executive actions.

  3. The Burger King That’s a fair point about the investors. I’m not so confident about the Tax Bill. Richer getting richer isn’t really beneficial for lower classes and workers. In my unwavering opinion Trickle Down is bullshit and hasn’t really worked since it’s inception during Reagan’s era. There are much better economic ideals and policies to deal with. Besides it would seem the wealthy would prefer to save rather than spend, shocker! That’s capitalism for you, I just wish I were one of the wealthy, maybe someday.

  4. People be honest. Here’s the truth: Trump is NOT a common racist that believes one ethnic group is superior to others. What he IS, is a PREJUDICIAL, old man with xenophobic tendencies. Also he has no skill for rhetoric and it tends to result in an unrefined, simple, and unthoughtful vocabulary for relaying speeches and messages.
