  1. I don’t understand the use of Egyptian symbology and history by Hoteps. Yes it’s an African country but not a predominantly Black African country. Which gets into the whole problem of Black revisionist history that isn’t good like claiming this or that historical figure was Black or that Egypt was ruled by Black pharaohs throughout history. Or Black Hebrew theory. Or Native Americans were Black theories. That kind of pseudo history is why Hoteps are mocked along with the more reactionary content among them. The African diaspora had much more to do with West African civilizations than Egypt. Egypt had more culturally Mediterranean and Middle Eastern heritage along with Nubian to their south. Ethnically Egyptians were diverse Coptic people, not a predominantly black ethnic group. Just annoying to make up shit when real Black and African history is right there!

  2.  @stoogel Mansa Musa was literally the wealthiest monarch in recorded history and it’s a shame not a single interest in making a film about him has been done in the years of Hollywood. Not that I’d trust that industry with factual history but according to Hollywood Rome was the only Empire that exists
