  1. joshrm imagine thinking this is mediocre. I don’t get why heavy metal fans have a disdain for its hard rock roots. They cry when someone says Heavy Metal is a sub genre of Rock. Whether to you it’s a different genre or not the pioneers were Rockers. Ozzy and Dio always saw themselves as rock and rollers. And the creation of Heavy Metal and all its deviations were pioneered by Rock bands. Including this song being an early example of Speed/Thrash Metal. The roots are here.
